Canon 80D is no doubt a powerful machine but there are cameras that are better when compared with Canon 80D. One camera that is always compared with Canon 80D is Nikon D7500. We will be drawing a comparison of these two in order to determine which camera is better.
The EOS 80D is an older camera with the launch year being 2016 while Nikon D7500 in 2017. The Canon 80D is a little cheaper in price when it comes to Nikon but you get a newer model for that extra money. D7500 has smaller senor but the same sensor as of D500 e.g. 20mp whereas Canon 80D has a 24-megapixel sensor. The ISO performance in the RAW mode in a bit higher than 80D and JPEG noise reduction is also better.
Nikon D7500 comes with solid 8fps shutter speed whereas Canon 80D tops at 7fps. This might not seem that big of a difference but once you hold down the shutter the difference can be seen. The JPEG holding capacity of D7500 is infinite and can also hold 50 uncompressed 14-bit RAW files while Canon 80D can only hold 110 JPEG or 25 RAW images. For people who require pulling longer bursts or capturing high-paced action, D7500 is an easy choice. Both the cameras offer a touchscreen for a better shooting experience with a 3.0-inch screen. D7500 comes with tilt only design but Canon 80D lets you flip the screen increases the range of angles one can shoot.
